With a specialization in canine coat care, Autumn has spent numerous years honing her craft and developing a deep understanding of dogs’ needs. Her dedication and experience ensure that every dog under her care receives the utmost attention and pampering. Annie Giesbrecht has been passionate about dogs for as long as she can remember. Her journey with these beloved animals has taken her across the globe and shaped her into the dedicated dog professional she is today.

For nearly a decade, Annie lived in Qatar, a place where her love for dogs truly flourished. For six years there, she not only trained dogs but also founded a unique dog business that orchestrated “pack walks” through the stunning desert landscapes and along the beautiful beaches. These experiences deepened her understanding of canine behavior and solidified her commitment to enhancing the lives of dogs and their owners.

In 2023, Annie returned to Canada, bringing with her Koda, her loyal and adventurous companion. Eager to continue her journey in the dog world, she embraced a new chapter in dog grooming. With her rich background in training and her heartfelt approach, Annie offers a grooming experience that is both professional and filled with genuine care.

From a very young age, it was clear that Emily was destined to work with animals. Even as a toddler, she had a deep love for all creatures—big and small—and a natural passion for caring for them.

Growing up, she spent most of her time outdoors, hiking with the family dog and catching frogs, turtles, and snakes. By the age of 10, she was already walking dogs in her neighborhood and pet sitting for local families.

Her journey into professional animal care began at a kennel, where she developed a deep appreciation for working with aggressive, fearful, and senior animals. It was there that she started bathing dogs, which eventually led to a role at a pet store. There, she cared for a wide range of animals including birds, reptiles, and fish, and gained valuable knowledge about their nutrition, housing, and enrichment—all while continuing to pet sit on the side.

When a dog bathing and groomer-in-training position opened up, she jumped at the opportunity. Her passion was quickly recognized, and she was soon sent to grooming school. Since then, she’s been fully immersed in the grooming world and has never looked back.

She specializes in working with anxious, reactive, senior dogs and puppies, finding it incredibly rewarding to help them feel safe, comfortable, and confident. She also has a love for working with cats, offering grooming services such as shaving and nail trims.

In addition to salon work, she provides in-home nail trimming services for seniors and individuals who are unable to travel—caring for dogs, cats, and small animals like birds and rabbits.

In her free time, she enjoys being in nature—birdwatching, discovering interesting insects, and catching frogs and turtles. At home, she spends quality time with her three cats and dog. Animals have always been, and will always be, her passion—both in and outside of work.
